About Deborah Tompkins
About the artist
Deborah Tompkins Bianco is an artist and equestrian whose work is a direct reflection of the passions that shape her life. Working across watercolor, oil, charcoal, bronze sculpture, and original fine art created on her iPad and transferred to aluminum, she creates representational pieces that celebrate beauty, movement, and form.
Deeply inspired by the equestrian world, Deborah’s primary subjects include horses, florals, African animals and birds. Her equine work captures both the power and sensitivity of the horse, informed by her personal experience and lifelong connection to the sport. Her floral, African, and avian pieces reflect a similar attention to detail, color, and quiet elegance.
Based between Far Hills, New Jersey, and Wellington, Florida, Deborah draws inspiration from the rhythm of seasonal life and the natural world, which continually influence her creative process. Whether working traditionally or digitally, her art is grounded in careful observation, craftsmanship, and a deep appreciation for her subjects.
Original works, limited edition prints, and sculptures are available for purchase. Prints are available in different sizes. The artist also welcomes commission inquiries for custom pieces.
All artwork is signed D. Tompkins, keeping continuity of all her works throughout the years
